Sally bought a box containing personal papers, diaries, and photos that had belonged to a woman named Betty Myers. Betty had been the girlfriend/lover of a man named John Paisley who had worked for the CIA. In 1978 John disappeared from his boat while out sailing in Chesapeake Bay. A body was recovered a week later with a bullet hole in the back of the head. The CIA quickly ruled the body to be John’s, and suicide as the cause of death. Investigations followed and what happened after that only made things more confusing and mysterious. So what really happened to John? What’s in the box of Betty’s things?
